Send the pickup and destination, move date, home size, access details, and any packing or furniture-protection needs. Ark Moving Co. will confirm the crew and pricing for your move.
Do you publish local moving rates?
Yes. Local hourly starting rates are $129 for a small move, $164 for a medium move, and $199 for a large move. Your quote confirms the right crew and applicable minimums, travel, and materials.
How long does a local move take?
As a guide, a small move with 2 movers usually takes 3 to 5 hours, a medium move with 3 movers 4 to 7 hours, and a large move with 4 movers 6 to 9 hours.
What is Double Drive Time?
Under California rules for hourly household moves, billable time is loading and unloading time plus double the actual drive time between pickup and drop-off.
